Friday – le marche, beautiful towns, beautiful people :)

On Friday Marty, Shelley and I had a blast at the market in Espalion. We bought paella for dinnerfruits, nuts, had coffee, talked with lots of French folks. A fun morning!

We then headed out to Conques – another plus beau village de France and a stop on the Camino (so Shelley could get another stamp in her compostela!). There was a detour (deviation en francais) and we got a bit lost. This sweet French couple followed us for several miles so that we wouldn’t miss the turn (it was pretty confusing!). We finally made it to Conques. An amazing little village. So very pretty…

On the way home we met some friendly French cows. A delightful day. 🙂

Hi there! I absolutely LOVE this latest post!!! The market, the people stories, the food, the cathedral, (even) the cows, and the MOST charming villages, are just so sweet and beautiful! Of course, we love the picture of the three of you. It looks like you are having just the best time. We’ve been sitting at the breakfast table talking about paella ?. See how you are broadening our learning curve??!! If that’s paella pictured in the big skillet, count us in! ? It’s so much fun reading your blog. Hey Marty, we hope you are able to watch the World Series! This last game was great! We were thinking of you. We send our love. Finish big and fun, you guys!!! ❤️ D & L
