At the Henry Ford Museum!!

We are sitting in a cool old-fashioned diner INSIDE this amazing museum (in Dearborn, Michigan) having a late lunch. Marty ordered the Sloppy Joe; I’m having an open-faced beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. They’re playing Boogie Woogie Bugle Boys. 🙂

Here’s a photo:

We will publish another blog on this museum but here’s one more photo to whet your appetite:

No, so sorry! We should have looked for that in Canada! I’m sure you could concoct some delicious alcoholic beverage with it?

Sorry I missed so much of your trip in real time. Janice had a great birthday (at least I thought so). Hanging in Bend – stop by some time and we’ll make you some sloppy Joe’s (it is Ryan’s all time favorite and Janice has mastered it)

Not to worry! We just missed your input! We have not come across anything like the white balloon head guys so, fortunately, we did not need your research and analytical skills so far. 🙂

Great Tucker – I loved the movie!

Also, why no sloppy Joe picture – a picture of Marty would have been great (with the entree would have been nice too)

Marty, after he thought about what you’d implied, said “that’s funny”. 🙂 I was gonna snap a picture of Sloppy Joe with his entree but it was half-eaten by the time I focused the camera…

We’ve missed you, Rich! And, of course, your sense of humor! Please note that you could win a can of 100% pure, unadulterated Canadian maple syrup if you are the “best” commenter. Scroll down for details. Happy bd to Janice!

Wow…that plate is more spectacular than the car! Although the car is fancy. You know you are in the midwest/ north by the food you’re served!

The amount of beef on that plate was shocking! It was a fun spot! They had a menu from the 40s on the wall, with prices like 35 cents for an egg salad sandwich. While we were there, we heard two people try to order off that menu! Sometimes you really gotta wonder whether some folks should be allowed to vote, or have kids for that matter…
