{"id":794,"date":"2015-07-14T17:20:16","date_gmt":"2015-07-14T17:20:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/?p=794"},"modified":"2015-07-14T17:23:17","modified_gmt":"2015-07-14T17:23:17","slug":"day-15-bye-to-ben","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/2015\/07\/14\/day-15-bye-to-ben\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 15 &#8211; Bye to Ben"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well the day finally arrived.\u00a0 The trip is over and its time to get back to reality.\u00a0 Ben flys home this evening at 6:30 pm.\u00a0 We get up and out to Lowry Grove RV park.\u00a0 We stopped at the gas station to fill up around the corner because they are giving a penny off a gallon for each run the Twins scored last night.\u00a0 They scored 9 runs.\u00a0 For 35 gallons thats not too bad.\u00a0 The plan today is to visit Mall of America and then its close to the airport so Ben will just take an Uber from the parking lot. \u00a0 My plan is to get the RV back to Toronto on Saturday, July 18th and fly back home at Noon that day.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/wpid-0713151006b.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"0713151006b.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/wpid-0713151006b.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>The main objective for our visit to Mall of America is to find Minnesota Vikings gear.\u00a0 Unfortunalety for Ben he aquired my fandome of the Minnesota Vikings.\u00a0 But first breakfast.\u00a0 We locate a Starbucks and get cofffee and some breakfast sandwiches.\u00a0 Then proceed to walk the mall.\u00a0 It is quite the place with the entire core of the place a roller coaster and other assorted rides for kids and adults.\u00a0 The actual Mall didnt seem quite as big as advertised but still its pretty big.\u00a0<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/wpid-0713151313a.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"0713151313a.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/wpid-0713151313a.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>We shopped several sports apparell shop, but no luck in finding the right fit for us.\u00a0 We hit Hard ROck cafe for lunch and more walking the mall and then its about time to get Ben to his plane.\u00a0 The reallity is setting in, the trip is over and its time to get back to real life.\u00a0 Ben gets packed and calls Uber.\u00a0 We say our goodbyes and hes off to the airport.\u00a0<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/wpid-0713151550.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"0713151550.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/wpid-0713151550.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p> Then my reality sets in&#8230;I have 5 days to get the RV back to Toronto and get home.\u00a0 The original plan was to take my time and go over the Great lakes thru canada and enjoy to drive and scenery.\u00a0 That sounds great at the time I planned this trip, but right now all I want to do is get home.\u00a0 I talk with the airlines and its a $ 200 change fee.\u00a0 I figured up all the cost to driving the extra gas for 3 days and the rv parks for 3 days and figure the change fee is offset by $ 100 and go ahead and reschedule the ride home for Thursday at Noon &#8230;..
