{"id":164,"date":"2012-07-10T16:23:26","date_gmt":"2012-07-10T16:23:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/griffysherlock.wordpress.com\/?p=164"},"modified":"2013-12-27T07:16:50","modified_gmt":"2013-12-27T07:16:50","slug":"final-day-of-vacation-in-amsterdam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/2012\/07\/10\/final-day-of-vacation-in-amsterdam\/","title":{"rendered":"Final day of vacation in Amsterdam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We got into Amsterdam at 9:30 last night.\u00a0 We got settled in and Ben and Scott were hungry.\u00a0 We took the car at 10 pm and went looking for food.\u00a0 The only thing open was Burger King.\u00a0 We found it and it was packed so we ate at the equivalent of dairy queen.<br \/>\nDriving ib Amsterdam is the worst we have faced yet.\u00a0 There are more bikes on the road than cars and the bikes thonk they own the road.\u00a0 So i had to learn the rules of the road and avoid bikes.<br \/>\nWe ate and drove around a little.<br \/>\nThe next morning.. tuesday july 10 .. i got the car back to the rental agency &#8230; without a scratch on it .. amazingly. Got back to the hotel and we went to breakfast andthenstarted to walk towards the Anne Frank museum. We got there and the line was 2 blocks long. We decidedto wait. It was an hour and a half to get inbut it was worth it.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/pictures\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/wpid-07101210364.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"0710121036.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/pictures\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/wpid-07101210363.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We then went to dinner and we are ready to get up early and catch the flight home. The great eutopean vacation of 2012 is over.
