{"id":1352,"date":"2016-04-18T05:24:24","date_gmt":"2016-04-18T05:24:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/?p=1352"},"modified":"2016-04-18T05:41:37","modified_gmt":"2016-04-18T05:41:37","slug":"day-3-and-we-havent-been-on-a-beach-yet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/2016\/04\/18\/day-3-and-we-havent-been-on-a-beach-yet\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 3 and we havent been on a beach yet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What kind of a beach trip is this?\u00a0 We are 48 hours into this trip and i realuzed i havent even been on the beach yet.\u00a0 So todays the day for sure.\u00a0 We stopped at face rock beach in bandon.\u00a0 This is a BEAUTIFUL beach.\u00a0<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/0417161251-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"0417161251.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/0417161251-1.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Long sandy beach with huge rock formations everywhere and tide pools among the roch formation.\u00a0 A beachcombers paradise.\u00a0 We walked for a couple of miles one way playing in the surf and taking pictures.\u00a0<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/0417161339-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"0417161339.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/0417161339-1.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately we cant stay all day we have to keep mobing.\u00a0 Off the see the Coquile lighthouse (pretty boring)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/0417161527a-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"0417161527a.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/0417161527a-1.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>and the bandon march wildlife refuge.\u00a0 The refuge had several viewing spots and was long on history of the area and sort on wildlife.\u00a0 Then the big decision of the day .. No not whats for dinner .. North to stay at the casino or south to a campground.\u00a0 Bunny won &#8230; Off to cape blano campground.\u00a0 It got 8 stars in the book&#8230;i was willing to settle with doubling down on my pair of 8&#8217;s at the blackjack table&#8230;<br \/>\nWe find a spot close to the beach and imediately we are greet by dwight the local lighthouse host with his red cup.\u00a0 We are still not sure what was in that cup.\u00a0 But he reassures us that this part of the west coast beach is the most beautiful.\u00a0 We secure the rv and off to see for ourselves.\u00a0 I have to agree.\u00a0 It is a beautiful beach .. But i m thinking face rock beach was just as nice.\u00a0 I forgot got to mention why they called it face rock beach .. Have a look &#8230;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/0417161307c-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"0417161307c.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/www.griffy-sherlock.com\/homepage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/0417161307c-1.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Do you see her?  Bunny decides to go back to the rv .. I go for a long walk on the beach.\u00a0 I walked from one end of the beach to the cape blanco light house.\u00a0 I am not sure if there is a way back up to the campground from here.\u00a0 I followed this couple and they just went up this grassy hillside &#8230; So i followed .. We all made it up ..
