True confessions here: seeing this landmark has never been on my (Bunny’s) bucket list. But it was on Marty’s so we went to see it. And I’m glad we did.
It’s pretty cool to look at. But the best part about it is the history, particularly HOW it was built. That story was fascinating! A museum on the site explained it all with artifacts, photos and old film footage. It took 17 years to finish once work began in 1927. From my acrophobic perspective, the workers were all nuts! Anyway an amazing accomplishment.
