This morning (Friday), our destination was Lourmarin because it’s supposed to be a beautiful town AND they were having their weekly “marche” (market) and we had heard that it was to-die-for. And it was! The town itself is beyond beautiful – my favorite thus far. The first three photos below are of Lourmarin (for some reason my photos aren’t all uploading; these photos do NO do it justice!). I had a “moment” in Lourmarin – while wandering the market I came upon a trio of musicians (two guitars and a cello) playing “Hallelujah”. Ahhhhh….
The rest of the photos (below) are of Les Baux de Provence, another beautiful village with castle ruins at the very top. The very last photo is of a chapel, one of very few intact buildings that were part of the castle.
The photo of the door? Just threw that in because I love doors. 🙂 All for now.

Hey Laraine and Jerry! THANKS for commenting! We will get some better photos up soon.
And thank you for the encouragement on my French classes. I have survived my first day – but they were easy on us. We could speak English with abandon (and without being fined). Tomorrow they start fining us two euros when we use a language other than French. I’ll write a blog about it.
Thanks again for the comments! 🙂
PS: So sad about Las Vegas. Just sad…
Oh my!!! These “beaux villages de France” are enchanting!!! The cobblestone walkways, music, marche descriptions sound so wonderful. Your pictures are terrific! Today we got caught up on a few new posts. Yes, we liked the cute shower. More than that, we LOVE LOVE LOVE the terrace picture! So charming! You sure have found some precious areas that seem to each have a flavor of their own. So interesting. And, to you, Bunny, go forward fearlessly into your French immersion! We are cheering you on from here! We are SOOOO impressed!!! You will do GREAT! ???
